In a heartfelt event at the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Welfare, the Management and staff on Monday 13th November, 2023 bid farewell to the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Mr. Saikou K Sanyang, who is set to embark on a well-deserved retirement. The occasion was also marked by the warm welcome of the incoming Permanent Secretary, Madam Rohey Kah.
The farewell and welcome party, held at the ministry premises, was attended by colleagues, well-wishers, and distinguished guests from various sectors. The atmosphere was one of mixed emotions as staff members expressed gratitude for Mr. Sanyang’s years of dedicated service and leadership.
During his farewell statement, Mr. Saikou K Sanyang reflected on the milestones achieved during his tenure and expressed his gratitude to the entire ministry for their unwavering support.
